Great game! I enjoyed playing it quite a bit. It's too hard for me; because you really need to save your all lifes for boss, but also I am not a great shoot'em up player. If I had to guess, I was probably at the last boss phase, but it's too tight and I can't precisely tell our ship's hitbox.
It's deliberate. There's a settings called interia, to mimic, the time it takes for a helicpoter to accelerate in a different direction. Turing it off in settings should help.

good game, once you get a good run it is hard to die.
Hit-boxes are smaller than what you'd think but in such a bullet-hell game it is an acceptable buff.
Highest is 104,080 but I'm going for higher still.

Good game! Maybe in the future think about the poor people (like me) with a different keyboard layout. But other than that I really enjoyed playing!
You can also use the C and V keys for shoot and rockets. This should be easier if you're on an Azerty keyboard.
